I don't know where to start. I want to make a scalp elixir by mixing jojoba oil with distilled water and peppermint oil but I don't know whether the jojoba oil will take to mixing with the water, because of the fact that I've heard so many people say oil and water don't mix. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Oil and water really don't mix. I remeber in chemistry... there's something about water and oil having different charges or the same charge... or whatever...so they repel each other. Why do you need the distilled water in it?

Oil and water don't mix...but you can make the oil particles small enough to spray by shaking them. I mix my own hair blend with Rosemary Essential Hair Oil from FNWL.com...I add shea oil and Lavender oil (water soluable) in a spray bottle with distilled water. It seperates all the time...but I shake the bottle really well and spray immediately. The solution stays blended long enough to spray on my hair.

fromnaturewithlove.com is the one you want.

fnwl.com is something else.
