Awww! I LOVE it, it is one of my staples. I think you will like it. If you don't aveda is cool like that and you can return it hassle free. Don't forget to let us know how you like it.

One of these days I am going to treat myself to Aveda too. . .I must have missed that episode of Oprah which one did she recommend?

*bumping for response*
I forgot which brand also but I use Aveda products and I want to try it too!
So how is this Aveda conditioner working for you Vevster?

I use an Aveda conditioner Cherry Almond Bark Conditioner and I really like it. I'm not sure which one Oprah recommended, but it's a really nice line of products.

  Damn for that kind of $$$ it better give me orgasms in the shower like those herbal essence commercials

I wonder if it would be cheaper just to make it. :ohwell:

Key ingredients:

Key Ingredients: Barley, Caster oil, Jojoba oil*, Meadowfoam seed oil, Phellodendron, Quinoa protein*

However I would like to try this if it was not so high.:(

Those are not the only ingredients. Those are just the KEY ingredients. I posted this on the other Aveda thread, but here are the ingredients:

Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment Ingredients:
Aqueous Extracts: Hippophae Rhamnoides Extract, Medicago Sativa (Alfalfa) Leaf Powder, LinumUsitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Stearalkonium Chloride, Behentrimonium Chloride, Phenyl Trimethicone, Quaternium-80, Glycerin, Stearyl Alcohol, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Fusanus Spicatus Wood Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil, Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Hordeum Distichon (Barley) Extract, Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, Tocopherol, Babassuamidopropyltrimonium Methosulfate, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Behenamidopropyltrimonium Methosulfate, Dicaprylyl Maleate, Dimethiconol Meadowfoamate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Polyquaternium-10, Fragrance, Limonene, Linalool, Citronellol, Citric Acid, Sodium Gluconate, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone

Oh and if you buy from the store you can always take it back if you don't want it, for me that helps justify the price

This stuff is the best! It seals the hair cuticle. I made my hair so soft and it was so easy to detangle afterwords. This is a great quick deep conditioner. I could shampoo everyday/other day and deep condition with this stuff and my hair would be so soft.

Which product did you use as a deep conditioner?

I used damage remedy.

That is it. I pretreated with warm olive oil for 30 minutes to an hour. I washed with Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 shampoo and then left the Aveda damage remedy in for 2-5minutes (not sure exactly how long because I didn't use a timer. Then, I rinsed and voila puuuuuurrfect!. :)

Did you use the instensive reconstructor or the regular conditioner?

The intensive reconstructor.

Thanks...I just purchased that and the Damage Remedy Shampoo...I am just wondering if I need to use another conditioner afterwards as well. I might try it both ways to see what gives better results.
