I tried bantu knots! See my fotki! I corrected the link so it should work now!

First time I tried a bantu knot. I think it came out pretty good. When I took them down the next morning, I was prepared to be disappointed. But I was wrong... I got LOTS of compliments on it. :grin:

I used water, Elasta QP mango butter and twisted and pinned. The next morning I used some extra virgin coconut oil and lightly loosened them and teased with my fingers. I can't do braidouts/twistouts but apparently I CAN do this!

OK, the link should be working now. I just fixed it.

I almost thought you were saying you were 'tired' of Bantu Knots ( because of the thread title) :grin:.

Looking good! You did a great job (especially for your first time :yep: ).
I think I want to try doing this on my own hair.

I got some amazing compliments too from everyone from my bantu knot out yesterday as well. I think BK sets are my favorite. Very simple to do and gives amazing little spirals!
