Mook's hair

New Member
I think it's time. I haven't in a while.
But I'm not really ready to do that.

I see splits, and I also think I have some scab hair on my ends. And that's annoying me.

But I don't wanna.

Somebody talk me into doing this trim.
or
Talk me out of it?

Or give me a plan for how to do it.
Should I blow it out and flat iron it?

If you see splits, I think you have to clip them. You don't want those strands to split all the way up to the root.

I had my ends dusted today, rollerset & blown out first. If you are just dusting, you probably don't have to flat iron. For a real trim though, you should probably flat iron to make sure it's even.

I think you should straighten your hair first. IMO that's the best way to determine if you need a trim or not.

I'm still not sure yet. Seek and destroy is my current method but I think I have to do a regular trim instead.

Mook I thought I really needed a trim because I have only dusted once in the past year and I hardly ever straighten. Last week while blowing my hair out I realized I really didn't need to trim so I dusted. I decided that if I am going to trim I will always straighten to see the real condition of my hair.
