I was really hesitant to buy a Hairagami after the mixed reviews and the whole snap-the-fingers thing :nono:, but I just happened to wander by one in the store and it just jumped into my basket! :lachen:

Anyway, I came straight home and had to try it out. I'm horrible at taking pictures of my hair, but I managed one semi-decent one (attached).

It took a couple of tries after I took my plaits out, but getting it in my hair was really quick, easy, and secure and I think I got the technique down. I think I can make an even better bun after I wash and set my hair tonight.

Now, I must admit: I don't think the Hairagami would work so easily for really thick, shorter hair, or past BSL hair, though. :ohwell: But, it seems just right for hair of medium length and thickness.

"snap-the-FINGERS thing!" I could have settled for finger snappin'. I was getting clocked in the head! I actually threw it across the room one day I was so mad. :lachen:I'm glad it's working for you. :yep: I think you're right. My hair was too thick and too short to be foolin' around with that thing.

Your bun looks great :yep:! I really want to buy one of these, but I'll have to get it online because I haven't seen them in any stores near me. I've seen one on eBay for about $4.00.

ETA - Do you think it will work for my hair or is it for longer lengths?

Nice to use when my hair is not all twisted and coarse from my infrequent combing...freshly relaxed my bun can lift higher, looks better too.
