So I'm laying in bed about to go to sleep but I wanted to experiment with something...kind of like meditation + laws of attraction...

I start saying "my hair is growing faster" in my mind while thinkin of a specific spot on my head...

sure enough, it tingled :perplexed

So I'm thinking ok...coincidence. I do this several times concentrating on my thought & the spot on my head and the tingle went everywhere that I concentrated on.

I know it sounds crazy but its true. I HAD to tell you girls. This ever hapn to you?

:ohwell:

ETA It was faint tingles.

LOL, do you think its possible that you "tuned" in to your scalp and now your feeling whats really happening all the time because your hyper aware? just a thought...

Do daily scalp massages. That will really help your scalp to tingle. It is also helping me to get familiar with my natural hair, too. From when I bcd, I can also tell how my hair is growing because my mini twists and finger curls are almost holding in place. I can't wait till I can rock some styles.:spinning:

My mom's friend did something like this, but she used to rub her hair and talk to it saying how beautiful it was and how much she loved it. Her hair ended up growing down to BSL from a short 'do :blush: She even did this when they were at work - mind you, they both work at a hospital. It didn't matter where she was, she would "speak" to her hair saying, "You're so long, so gorgeous, I love you".
:lachen::lachen:

That's like when I went to my grandmother when I was 13, scared that my breasts wouldn't grow because my mom was an A-cup before she had me. And here I was, 13 and thick with a big butt, but no chest. She told me to talk to my chest and it would grow. Now she had a J-cup so I was like "Dang, how long she been talking to hers?" LOL.

So, sure enough I talked to my chest. By 15 I had a C-cup. And they haven't stopped growing since. Now I'm a G-cup and I refuse to speak to them anymore. :lachen:So I think it's one of those positive reinforcements or self-fulfilling prophecies. Like 'If you think it, the hair will come.' :grin:

Don't laugh, but I have been telling my natural hair that I love it and I'm excited to wear all the different styles that it can create and that I will treat it like new spun silk as it grows from my scalp, and I be doggone if it isn't growing like crazy. I told it I would start working out for it to increase my circulation and I was going to start researching hair friendly foods...until CM got me off on a OCT tangent....

I totally get this and I'm going to continue to do this, heck I might throw my hair a party!!! :lachen:

ETA: It works for fingernails and toenails too...fyi

This is not too dissimular from the LOA threads that are floating on the board....Thoughts are powerful...visions are powerful...focus is powerful!! Basically :yep:

You haven't lost your mind. :lol: ITA with the posts here. If more people understood the mind/body connection, everyone will be talking to their body parts on purpose, including their hair.

Actually, people do anyway but usually in the negative. I hear people all the time complain about their weight (telling their body parts they are too big, too small, too wrinkly, etc.) and every other body part they don't like. And the body responds accordingly. :yep:

:lachen:Your grandmother is a smart woman! :rofl:
