I have begun bunning my hair for the cold season as a PS. I plan to wear it out on the weekends to give my hair a break. My routine is to bun during the day and moisturize and oil my scalp at night. After doing this I put it in about 5 braids and sleep that way to give my hair a break. I also plan to wear my hair out on the weekends. As I took my braids out on Saturday morning I simply loved my hair. So this is my new weekend style. It's nothing revolutionary but I think it's FAB!

Your braid-out looks nice and your hair is sooo thick.....Pretty.

Thanks guys. I know it's just a simple braid out, but I usually do them on wet hair right after washing and DCing it. That said, it's amazing to me that I can do this with so little effort and time on my part. It kind of reminds me of Corinne Bailey Rae's hair except hers is curly.

I love it, it's pretty. I love your puff too

It looks amazing. I love seeing how a braidout looks completely different on each person and texture.

nice!

where do you place your braids? What are you using for moisture & sheen?

I don't really know how to explain the braid placement. I just start with my hair parted how I want it and then braid from the crown down in 5 braids. i don't know if that helps or not. I'll add a pic in the morning it you like. It's really nothing complicated AT ALL, but words escape me.
For moisture I just use my shea butter mix (it's a lotion type consistency) on my hair at night before I braid it.
