Seriously! I'm still waiting for my shipment of HHIAB oil spray and have resorted to Hollywood Beauty Olive Oil as a substitute. I use it the same way I used HHIAB (a generous amount) and now my hair smells like my mother's kitchen! Is there another cheap alternative I can use while I wait? Thanks!

I haven't used HHIAB but I believe it's got essential oils in it. So how about getting an essential oil like lavendar or ylangylang and adding a few drops to the portion of HBOO that you are about to apply to your hair? Monoi Oils are supposed to smell really nice and have gotten quite a few raves on the forum from those who've used them, both for scent and results they give.

/images/graemlins/rofl.gif for a moment I thought you were talking about WGO /images/graemlins/rofl.gif

I didnt really think that the hollywood beauty had a strong smell to be honest.

I've used HBOO before I started to seriouly look after my hair and was never conscious of the smell either. It's not so much that that the smell is strong than that the smell lingers. I used HBOO yesterday for air-drying and I can smell it today even with my hair in a ponytail... /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks Nonie. Monoi oils sound interesting and I will look into them in the future. Since I'm waiting for a mail order, I was looking toward drug store brands that I can pick up at CVS immediately. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

thanks for the link Nonie..Im assuming that she is talking about WGO -- 'my husband whining that the pillows were smelling like urine????'
