I Saw The Bridezilla Who Got Stood Up

... at the altar.

I don't know what possessed me yet again to go the Walmart in the Baldwin Hills mall, but I did it anyway. I visited that mall in the past and saw her once walking with her daughter as well, about a year ago, so perhaps she lives in that area.

She was handing out some sort of petition forms for people to fill out, to make that Walmart carry fresh fruits and vegetables. It looked like she was dressed in a white Nurse's uniform. I was super distracted & on my cell phone, but she walked right up to me and handed me a form. It was a delayed reaction in me recognizing who she was.

Oh wow. The one who's fiance stood her up on the wedding day but they got married a few days later in Vegas or something like that? The one whose daughter/family was always fighting with her fiance? I wonder if they are still married...

Yep - that's her. I contemplated in my mind whether to ask her about Bridezillas, but I didn't. I didn't even fill out the form :sekret: But from a distance I tried to scope her hand out to see if she was wearing a wedding band. Trife, I know.

I would have done the same thing :look:. Man, her epsidoes were a trip, I wondered about her because I wouldn't have married him after he stood me up at the alter :perplexed.

Trife, I know.

I wanted to ask but I couldn't bring myself to do it. She looked so worn down & tired. :( She was kind of hanging her head down & her posture was sunken. I couldn't do it. I glanced at her hands to see if she was still wearing a wedding band, but I couldn't tell because she was wearing rings on other fingers. I felt more compelled to pray for her than anything.

I was just about to ask if she was wearing a ring

Browndilocks, well that pretty much sums it up as to why you couldn't bring yourself to ask her, that's really sad to hear :(. Did her daughter still look like a brat though?

I remember that episode. Personally, I thought that something was off with the bride. Also, I thought that the daughter was looking out for her mother. We don't talk about it often, but there are people who are mentally challenged who have perfectly normal children. Those children often end up taking care of their parents so to speak.

ETA: I'm not being cruel with the mentally challenged bit. As I continue to work in my profession, I have become better at identifying people (even adults) who may have had less noticeable/unidentified cognitive issues.

I thought something was off about her too. Her daughter was concerned because they had met online and her mother had only met him once or twice prior to them getting married or trying to.

yea to me it seemed that guy was using the mom. at first i thought the daughter was just being a brat, but when i found out how the guy was acting, i was moreso on the daughter's side. pray for her!

I couldn't help thinking how there is no fool like an old fool. But I can identify with wanting someone to love you that badly, so I felt awful for her when she got stood up.

I hope she is doing better and without that man.

There is definitely something off about her, and moreso in person than on the show. The dude was totally taking advantage of her, its a real shame. I can only imagine what she was/is going through to have such a melancholy demeanor.

I remember that episode, it was a dam shame what he did to her. I still cant blv she still married him after that, but like a poster above said she had to have some type of mental health issues combined with some super low self esteem in order to go thru with that.
If I recall correctly, I also believe that she paid every penny of that whole entire wedding by herself, including his tuxedo and her own ring. :smh:
