i used ORS lye in EXTRA STRENGTH ive always had trouble getting straight hair and i thought this would do it.

now i have no idea what to do. no hair is breaking and its a bit dry, but to be real it was kinda like that b4.

It looks like it is underprocessed/unintentionally texlaxed. How long did let it process? Did you relax your entire head?

If it is dry, then deep conditioning is the way to go. Take good care of it and you can try doing a "corrective" in about 8 weeks, if you still want straighter hair.

If it is not breaking, you're okay. Just take care of it. If you want to correct the underprocessing, you can do that in about eight weeks. Relax the "new" new growth first. When half the time has lapsed, you can re-relax the underprocessed parts. I think your hair is pretty as it is. Good luck!

Cosigning with the other ladies- you can do a corrective after a while. It's underprocessed/ texlaxed as I see in the pics. Hair that has been natural usually underprocesses at the ends and strand and the roots get done faster due to body heat. It's a tricky process.

When you do your corrective, you'll wanna do maybe like 10 minutes on the texlaxed hair to make it straighter.

I've underprocessed in the past and waited a few weeks (possibly 2) in order to apply a relaxer/corrective relaxer again. Because the hair was underprocessed I didn't see too much harm in trying again to get things right and my hair never broke off -- however, I also didn't leave it on too long -- maybe 6 minutes max!
