But I want to do them on my own hair. How in the heck do they stay? What products to use? I won't be taking my braids out til November (... I think, lol) and I would like to know how to do them. I know there will be some trial and error but if I can figure it out, I bet they would look cute on me. :D Somebody help me out please.
 
I am natural so my twists pretty much stay together themselves. The only product I use is a curl activator gel on the ends so the ends curl up. I did twists on my mom's hair (has not had a relaxer since last Dec.) and I had to use rubber bands coated with moisturizer to help secure her ends.
