So whenever i wear my natural hair i wash, condition, then add a moisturizer to my DAMP hair and pick it out.the problem is that all the moisturizers i have used dont absorb and you can see like white chunks and everything else.

Elasta QP Mango Butter, not sure how effectively it is on DAMP hair but it works wonders on dry hair...try it:yep:

ewwww little white chunks sounds like what happens when you mix some conditioners with Fantasia IC gel or cantu leave-ins. sure nuff recipe for curdy hair.

are you using a moisturizer and a gel together? maybe they are not compatible.....

no im not using 2 products together..the ones that really would not dissolve were hollywood beauty products..i keep trying to find a use for these since they are so cheap lol..so at one point i would wet my hair at night, part it into sections, moisturize with that, then comb and plait..it was nice while it was wet but in the morning when i picked it out dry there would be little white flakes all in my hair and all over the counter!

I agree glycerin is the bomb :yep: but I think I used to much before and had a ton of buildup. My hair started shedding like crazy after I finally washed it out.

After my episode, I laid off. I'm going to try it again tonight. My hair is always thirst. :lick:

I LOVE Sweet Almond Oil. I rub a quarter size amount in my hands and smooth it in my hair. I also mix it in with a little EVOO and melted Shea butter. My hair smells good and it SO moist doing this!

That should work. I got mine from a product swap at an Atlanta LHCF meeting over a year ago and I just started using it a week ago! As someone else posted, try not to be heavy handed with it. I didn't measure but I tipped the bottle about 2-3 times into a spray bottle 3/4 full of water. When I used it before using the curlformers last Fri., it made my hair too soft. But with today's low puff, the mix was just right! In fact, I have the spray bottle at work to refresh my puff during the day!
