So hubby was holding Baby Hulk (Caleb) a few minutes ago and made the stink face.:perplexed He sniffs the boy's hair and says "Somebody put something in his hair!:ohwell:" Well I said "Yes, that's the leave in I use in his hair" (I use Aveeno) DH makes stink face again and says "He smells like a girl:perplexed. Can you find something more masculine for him?"

Soooo here I am lol. Obviously I have no need of a manly Leave In but I was wondering what other moms of boys use or what their hubby's use. DS hair is 3C with fine strands. Any suggestions?

Of course I have included pics:grin:

OMG! ahahahaha!!
Baby Caleb is a cutie pie! My cousin had a baby last year and she named him Caleb.

Oh and I have no suggestions LOL My son (18) has no choice but to use the fruity smelling conditioners I buy or make.

he is such a patootie lol. ummm lets see. kbb hair milks comes is different scents and i think the sultry sandalwood would be great for men/little boys.

Wasn't it your daughter who put the personal lubricant in Caleb's hair last year? Why don't you ask her if she's got any suggestions. :lachen:

What a cutie! How about Sebastian Molding Mud? It works great with my son's curls, and it has the perfect scent for a little gentleman. (His barber actually used this product on him after his first haircut.)

That food sure looks yummy!

put indian leave ins, and I guarantee you your hubby will be begging for you to put the fruity stuff back in your sons hair lmao!!!

my husband uses my "fruity" smelling leavins they work well on his hair oh well.

Caleb is a pumpkin:love2: adorable!

Anywhoo for more manly scents maybe you can try more natural leave-ins like shea butter EVOO or my fave EVCO, those are neutral. You can also try putting a first layer of shea butter and a little gel to make the curlies pop sans any particular smell:yep:

P.S. I miss baby hulk's fro!:cry4:

How about Soul Glo... Men used that, didn't they? :look:

Just kiddin' :lachen:

I agree with BlackCardinal on natural oils since they don't really have a smell. Caleb is simply darling. :bighug:
:giggle: @ your subject heading/thread.

I use Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-in cream on my 4-year old son's hair. I love the smell, but I can't say it's overly girly. It's not too heavy, so I don't have to worry about him breaking out along the hairline. My boy has crazy sensitive skin.

:lachen: Sure was her....she continues to torment him too:rolleyes: The girls put him in a dress and put bows in his hair a little while back:nono: I told them don't ya'll ghey up my son! It wasn't a PC thing to say I know...that's why this statement is hidden in white:sekret: If I hear him let out a blood curdling scream I can put money on it that it's Kayla:nono: She's too hyper for him. We tried to explain "Kayla, 2-3 peek a boos is fine, but 10, 20, 30....getting louder each time, will not make him laugh.":nono: Kayla irritates the heck out of him and Angel ignores him (she has already developed the ability to tune out young children. She'll make a great mom some day:lachen:). I sure hope he don't grow up with issues toward women:nono:

P.S. I miss baby hulk's fro!:cry4:

Girl it's already growing back! It's coming in much nicer now too, all 1 texture 3c/4aish:yep:

WoW, he got big!!

I know:cry4: The boy has the appetite of a grown man:lachen: He's just like the girls too, long and lean....well except he has cellulite on his thighs and butt:nono::lachen:

:lachen:Girl why was I looking at the curl activator like:scratchch today too? I can't do my baby like that:lachen:

What ever happen to his Winnie-the-Pooh pajamas? He's still cute though!

He got angry at Kayla, turned green, and his muscles ripped right through that suit:lachen:

Throwback!:lachen::nono::lachen:

Forreal I don't know why DH is trippin' either. I mean he uses girly froo froo body wash and sissy girl hand lotion:lachen: But his shampoo is "manly" (Selsun Blue)

Not sure how much protein his hair can handle but mane n' tail works pretty good in my hair and the smell isn't too girly.
