Well there is good news and bad new from this year. The start would be that I manage to retain almost al if not al of my growth from the last year and I went from SL to APL.
The bad news. After a year I have literally grown 3 and one half inches! Unbelievable. I take vitamins, I have no healthy problems, and make sure to keep my protein up. I figures I was a slow grower cause I've never really had a MAJOR breakabe problem and if I did I jump on it. But 3 and 1/2 inches! So discouraged.

Awwwwww! :hug2: Hugs to you! I know it was a slow process, but a major congrats on making APL! Some times I feel like I'll never reach my goal, but we're both going to keep at it. Slow and steady wins the race. Hang in there hun!:yep:

Don't get put off. Maybe you should try a different vitamin but SL to APL is really good.

I grew around that much give or take half an inch too so don't feel bad. I'm going to try to exercise more to see if that helps but it can always be worse.

I only grow 3 inches a year not including trims. But I think if I ate better, I might get more growth.

Did you trim last year at all? Do you eat enough veggies and fruits and drink enough water?

The average growth rate is 1/2 inch per month, which means some people get more and some people get less.

Grats on reaching APL :congrats:

Vitamins are good for supplementation but whole food is better. You could try eating more veggies and exercising if you haven't been already.

I'm sorry.Im having a set back. My hair grows but I have the hardest time retaining without heat damage or just plain ol breakage. Try drinking more water and increase your protein intake. Oh and check the absorption of your vitamins. DSD dropped hers in a glass of vinegar to see how long it took to dissolve.

oh and heres a BIGGG CYBER HUG! don't be defeated. we will reach our goals eventually we just have to be patient and persevere.

Well at least you can retain it all, look at it this way it's better than growing 6 inches and have to cut off 31/2 to 4 inches of it. Congrats on making APL!
