I have conditioned wash my hair for 2 weeks in a row and I have had salon results that last for 4 days even through heavy rain this past week in NYC. I am now convinced that all shampoos no matter how "moisturizing" has been stripping my hair and making it hard to manage

RESULTS: soft, shiny, smooth hair with body, completely smooth cuticles, no breakage when combing.

My only shampoo: every 2 months??
Extra: Heavy Protein every month via DRC-28

The PICS are in my FOTKI album.

So glad you asked!

My Conditioner Wash Regimen is as follows:
(1) Night Before soak hair with SALERM 21--
(2) Next Morning--Rinse with Warm water
(3) Apply generous amount of: SUPER 10 en 1 CONDITIONER with plastic cap for 15/20 minutes
(4) Rinse hair with lukewarm water
(5) Part hair in 4 sections and apply a thin layer of ELUCENCE MB CONDITIONER into each section, especially ends
(6) Apply KERACARE FOAM WRAP LOTION to each section
(7) Air dry 85%
(8) Blow dry each section
(9) Apply QP ELASTA RECOVERY MOISTURIZER to shaft & B&B Super Lite to ends in each section
(10) Flat Iron roots straight (I am 7 weeks post)
(11) Apply QP ELASTA MANGO BUTTER to ends and add magnetic rollers

I think the point is I am getting nothing but conditioners and water at every stage.

Thanx for the post, i think i'll try this no shampoo thing, my hair seems so0o dry lately I'll do anything (well almost anything) for some freakin moisture in it.

bajanplums1 - are you seeing any breakage from blowdrying frequently?

I think I'd fear that over time there would start to be breakage from the frequent usage of heat.

I would post pics but the batteries for my camera have not been charged.

I absolutely agreeeeeeeee with the no or low poo regimen. SOFT, MOISTURIZED, EASY TO COMB HAIR. My hair used to be hard think brillo pad and i could not comb it dry. the only thing you cant put too much stuff in your hair on daily basis else you get mad build up. now it s always soft. i used Suave poo humectant, it stripped all the moisture out of my hair and left it so dry no amount of cond could make it soft. I'm natural 4b. I might just use shampoo once a month but in general only conditioners every 3 days VO5 (i notice that its only their poos that contain sulfates) or max once a week but my hair loves it so much i itch after 3 days if i dont wash. Only V05 cond so far but i intend to try rene furterer, lazartigue, Frederic Fekkai and for poos once or twice a month i'll use creme of nature green label but i m tempted to try Aubreys.

I use DRC-28. WHen I use it honestly my hair DOES NOT BREAK. My old stylist used to use it on me and my hair was unstoppable. THen one time I went to another stylist who decided she would comb through my wet, past shoulder length, hair with a rattail comb.

I was pissed, but afterwards she said, your hair is fine, but it does not break. DRC really fortifies the hair was continuous use.

Also, i use warm air after air drying a bit and I alos set the flat iron to 3. Check out my updated fotki pics. My hair is smooth and even, and this is 7 weeks post relaxer with no trim.

gon' bajanplums...your hair is unstoppable! i just peeped your album, very nice. And thanks for this post, cause i use lo poo but i admit that i use more than is considered 'low-pooing' i always fear that i'm not cleaning my hair or that i'm not washing away all of the daily moisturizer gunk that i have been using. i'm going to give it a try...i'm going to stop pooing and maybe lo-poo every 2 weeks. I tried it a while back and i got flaky scalp after 3 days but i'm gonna give it one more shot.

thanks again for sharing your results.

I am thinking of adding DRC to my regimen. Do you shampoo after rinsing the DRC out of your hair?

I'm about to do this too, but I won't use a blowdryer at all. I just do a wash and go, and see my results.

your hair is fab. But the texture of my new growth demands a blow dryer. when I am without new growth, I will air dry and rollerset, but once that new growth creeps out, forget about it.

How do you manage your new growth?

Also my hair has no 3 anything. It is straight up 4b.

Thoroughly rinse with warm water and follow up with an excellent moisturizing conditioner. I bought a small bottle of Humecto ($12) just for when I do DRC treatments.
