I'm about 9 weeks or so post relaxer and my hair is nappy. I'm a very thick, very course, very 4b head, and this stuff is rough and tough. And many of you know that I've been struggling with my hair lately, just fed up and not knowing what to do. It has seemed like nothing I had been doing was helping. I was ready to call it quits. So I've tried Nexxus Therappe and Humectress and thought it was alright especially for the price I paid. Well CVS had the small bottles for about half the price so I said I'll give it another try since its a big fav with a lot of ladies here. I bought the Botanoil this time and the humectress again. So last night I washed with the Botanoil, and fell in love. My hair was so soft and had slip, which most poos don't give me. Then I put on the Humectress and let it stay on while I showered. OMGoodness!!! /images/graemlins/clap.gif I couldn't believe how good my hair felt. So after that I slapped on a ton of cholesterol, put on my plastic cap, a hot towel and let that sit for about an hour. I rinsed this stuff out and my hair so shiny and suprisingly easy to comb through. I put on my Cantu Shea Butter strengthening treatment and let it air dry. This morning my hair was so soft, shiny and not greasy. I was thinking of washing only once a week and no CO washes so this may be my staple routine. I just can't stop touching my hair. I just had to share. If any 4b's are having a hard time finding the right combo of products give this a try. If you do, please let me know how it turns out. Thanks for listening.
