This was supposed to be just an extra time experiment because I thought that my hair was too short to have a successful bantu knot set.
Anyway...I made 6 little buns on my head and pinned them and slept in them and this morning I took them down and I had pretty little spiral curls!!

Shiny and even though they weren't 100% dry, they weren't frizzy. (And you all know my problem with my hair drying and frizziness) So I put the very front up in a little clip (because my hair is still in a weird cut to were it completely down. itismehmmkay, I'm feelin' ya on the cute messy updo's you can get away with with curly hair

) and now I'm lovin' it. I think I finally found something I like so that I can try the daily conditioning washing. YAY!

That is the whole idea. I was looking for some type of style that I could air-dry my hair in and the flattwists are what worked.

I might try wearing some funky bantu knots when my hair is dry. Instead of defined parts, it'll still be inspired by those messy yet decent updos.

Wow ==daydreaming of barrettets and other hair decor==

Yes girl. i wear them all the time now. I been wearing for almost a month(starting tomorrow it shall be) and i like mine too. My hair is growing too. I like the freeness of it. Its what i call freedom hair. :^D Imma try twists someother time when im not too lazy to do it all over my head. Bantu knots are soooo easy to just put in and not very time consuming.

This is my favorite no heat hairstyle. I just styled my hair like this, this weekend. It's a great way to have texture w/o using a curling iron.

Have any naturals tried bantu knots? And what were the results?

I tried it twice and my hair was still very wet in the morning so I just ended up pulling my frizz ball back into a bun.

how long should you hair be to do these and what type of reults are there

How do you do them. I am collecting ideas to do for this winter
