but I'm going to ask it anyway. There are just some things I don't want to leave up to my own reasoning...:nono:

Is it okay to texlax my hair next week and then get a weave 2 or 3 weeks later? Will it cause any damage?

I think it just depends on what state your hair is in. If it is fragile and breaking then no. If it is strong and healthy then yes.

I just say make sure you properly prep the hair (neutralizing again to be sure, clarifying, DCing, protein if necessary) b/f you do it.

What kind of weave job are you getting?

Girl, thank you so much for responding.

I'm thinking about just getting a full weave for a while. I need to do something to keep my hands out of my hair. Based on what you advised, I think I'm going to go ahead and do it. I've been experiencing some shedding, lately. No real breakage, unless I'm just rough with my hair (which is rare). But, I just can't keep going on looking crazy, like I have been.

Usually that's how long hair stylist ask you to wait. 2 or 3 weeks is the recommended time to wait.
