I just want to give up

Don't give up! Things always seems worst right before a breakthru. I know I "hit a wall" about 8 months into my hair journey and I just muddled through. I mean, I had no choice 'cause I could NOT go back to my old bad hair care ways. My solution was to put my hair in bun until my next wash (see I had this disasterous *lecithin* experience that left my hair in shambles). Anyway, just hang in there. Do you want to say why you feel like giving up?

I know exactly how you feel. I've had more setbacks than I want to remember, but you are learning. I say wait at least a year after joining this hairsite before giving up. By then, you may be well on your way to long hair.

why do you want to give up? some of us are hair hustlas and we take vits, bun, baggie, no heat and all that good stuff to achieve our goal. if you find a simple regimen that works with your lifestyle I am sure you'll be fine. if you are not happy with your hair the way it was then don't go back

Can you give more info.? Why? How are you wearing it? What are you trying to achieve? Etc.

I get like that sometimes. I am so glad I have my good friend lmjenk to lift my spirits when I get to feeling that way. We are on this journey together and I can always count on meeting up with her for lunch or speaking on the phone to help me get through it. She always reminds me that we've only been on this journey for a short amount of time. Patience is the key. I got really excited when I got my hair permed this weekend and saw all the progress I have made. So hang in there, keep taking pictures and use those pictures to inspire you. We are all here for support you know? 24/7...somebody is online to give you some support.

thank you ladies really I do thank you It's just hard for me sometime cause I was use to having a nice length hair but when I was in high school it started to brake off so I had to cut it into like the old Toni Braxton cut but it really never grow back to the length it was cause I was coloring it like crazy but now I'm well on my way and yay for me I just got my hair braided cause I am doing the C&G Technique
