WOW, I looked at ur fotki, I'm so happy for u!!!! I just hit a baby milestone myself but I can't wait til I get to ur stage. AND IT'S A LOW BUN!!! How did you get all your hair into the pony holder in the first place???
Hey Cocomama! As you know, I am one of your biggest fans. This is awesome because your hair is growing as fast as a weed! I love your hair and the whole Seafuss line!
OT: So um... when's the wedding? You better let me know!!!! PM ME!!
Oh wow..aside from the bun that looks fantastic..I am in love with the texture and thickness of your hair I'm going to have to err on the side of being corny as hell and say that I'm getting sea sick from all those waves.
Your bun looks great. Looks like banding really works... I've been blowdrying my hair with a pick to get my hair into a bun/puff. Any tips? I'm gonna try banding this weekend and see if I can cut back on the heat.
Your bun is sooo cute! You are making me want to make a bun like that!
Girl I am happy for you cause I remember how excited I was when I was FINALLY able to make my first bun! It seemed like it took forever for me to get there so I was especially happy!
dimpalz~ I used Carol's Daughter healthy hair butter and a D4 brush to slick my hair down. Also I pooed with Herbal Essence HH and detangled my hair in the shower. I think the key to a slick down look is to totally detangle your hair from the roots to the ends.
anky~ No, I'm your number one fan Your hair is so HOT!!!! I'm currently working on a few patents for hair styling products, so seafuss will come back as a hair site. SO STAY TUNE! I will pm you our wedding plans
nrtbndr~ I think the key to banding is using a good detangling comb and always keep the hair in a stretch state after using the pooing technique.
wildchild453~ My hair is about 10-11 inches. I hope to have at least 12 by Feb. 2007, this will be my 3 yr napptural anniversary
melodee~
zzirvingj~ Thanks
lovelyz~ It took me about 20 minutes to secure the hair in place. It wasn't hard, afashionslave gives a nice tutorial in her fotki. I will take a pic of my sock bun in a few days. I want to wear this for at least 5 days
Cool bun...I've never seen that type of bun on natural hair. Looks Great. I love the way natural hair creates waves when you brush it back. Very pretty.
Looks good...and you don't have one stray hair sticking up! That's a milestone there! I'm waiting until I can pull all these different lengths into one bun!
BTW, I checked out your album and your comb-out rollerset is lovely! I big hair!
misscongeniality~ You will be there in no time! I used to think the same thing, but I had to learn that our hair is growing all the time. It's just that when your natural it's hard to see it That's why I love looking at other people's fotki's for encouragement.
