I kept cutting and cutting it down to about 4 to 5 inches. The reason is because I had a lye relaxer done and then I couldn't afford to get it done again and had been using No-lye. So about 2 years ago I got my hair done the best I had ever got it done in a solan in Phoenix. But it cost $85 and I never found out what kind of relaxer she used! We rarely have an extra $85 and since then we have moved back to Denver and I have had it done twice but it wasn't even close to what I had in Phoenix. Well since I have been using No-lye I have had some (well quite a bit of) breakage and I kind of need to start over with my hair so I went chop-chop!
My question is what is the best lye relaxer. I need a touch up pretty soon and I have decided that I have to skill to apply a lye relaxer myself. One day I may be interested in Phyto but right now that is out of my price range. Also the sylist used this pink pressing cream and it kept my hair looking great. What is the best pressing cream or heat protector.
