I kind of feel guilty about not waiting the full 12 weeks but I was 3 days shy from being 10 weeks post. I'm still proud of myself though for even waiting so long but, I couldn't start my new job looking like that.

I relaxed with elucence conditioning lye. my hair came out relatively straight but with a slight curl pattern still left which is what I was going for.

I see definite progress and I have to thank everybody for all the great tips especially protective styles. my hair is now the lenght that it normally grows to (a little longer though) but at this lengh my hair ends would start to look raggedy, damaged, chewed up, brittle and dry that I would have no choice but to cut it off. I can honestly say though they still aren't perfect (I need a slight trim) but they have done a 100% turn around.

when I applied elucence moisture balancing conditioner all I can say is OMG!

the slip, the feel, the moisture, it was incredible. I went under the dryer for 10 mins then I tied my hair in the ponytail method with out bothering to rinse it out. for air-dried hair my hair looked great!
I couldn't have done any of this with out you guys.

I'm glad that your hair turned out good

So are you saying that after you came from under the dryer you didn't rinse out the conditioner?? And were you able to purchase the elucence relaxer?? I can't wait to try my Elucence products, my hair is still in braids, you make me excited to try.

Yay Liz!!!

I am trying the Elucence relaxer in Mild on my next touch up. Some people I know with GORGEOUS hair - in person and on the board use it and I wanna be down.

Thanks for the review.

Tracy, did they give you a hard time ordering the relaxer?? They gave offthechainz a hard time trying to order, but they didn't give me a hard time. I just ned to know for when I have to get the relaxer in May.

I think it could of been because it was my first time ordering from them. but, yes I wrote her a pretty nice e-mail and she budged. thank god cause I didn't have $40 something to spend on affirm.

oh yeah, Mamacita I didn't rinse it out after I came under the dryer yesterday. my hair is still soft and I think it's looking pretty good right now for air dried hair (no flat iron either)
I'm in the library right now and my friend came by about 5 min ago she was like. wow your hair grew, didn't you just cut it? of course she was the same friend who thought I was crazy when I tried to tell her about washing more often, con washes, protective styles and so on...

Miosy, I'm kinda ashamed of myself, the whole process took me like 30-35 min. what can I say I'm a slow worker. especially doing the back of my hair and trying not to overlap as much as possible. I guess the good thing about lye is that is take longer to strighten your hair and I still have a slight curl pattern.

tracy, I think your hair is already gorgeous but I'll definitely will be sticking with elucence for a while (and not only because I bought the 4lb tub) lol

thanks Armyqt.

I'm happy that everything worked out for you with getting the relaxer. Now I can't wait to get mine. See what a little convincing can do
