I have some questions for the sew in divas on this board...

How do you wash your sew in? Do you blow dry or air dry?

Can condition your natural hair with protein to prevent less shedding?

Do you use a spray leave in conditioner? If so, what has worked for you?

I currently use Sta Sof Fro, MTG 1 - 2 weekly, and Surge daily.

This is my first sew in and I have fine hair. I am trying to prevent from being bald after taking this out. Please help!

I wash it in the shower and let it air dry. I usually detangle it while it's wet. Sometimes I put mousse and mango butter in it if it's a curly weave. But most of the time I let it air dry with no product. I spray oil on my braids underneath when it feels itchy but that's about it.
