I saw that show!!! Don't remember the dollar amount but the her weaves/wigs look they are definitely are not worth it. Please some girls look way better with the yaki weave from the asian store.

I read in a hair mag when they were first coming out that none of them wore weaves. Think back to the days with the original girls. They all had long hair except for Kelly. Also Beyonce was in a Case video (the one where he was leading her on a romantic scavenger hunt) around that time too and her hair was to her waist and I am 'almost' positive that it was all hers. It didn't look "weavy" at all. Does anybody remember?

Also, in all the footage of DC when they were young she always had long, healthy looking hair. I don't know why it's so hard to believe that she has had waist length hair.

I don't find it hard to believe that she had waist length hair, but the keyword is "had." Even then, I don't think her real hair waist length when DC first came out. But that's just me.

When they first came out she didn't have waist length hair but it looked much better than it does know. I don't care how long it is if it doesn't look healthy then it looks a mess. People with short hair can have healthy hair. But her hair doesn't look healthy. Most of us on this board had long hair when we were younger so I don't find it hard to believe that she HAD waist length hair either.

Yip. I think technique of styling may have made it look thin (depending on how that style was achieved), possibly. I can make my hair look thick or thin, all depending on what products I use.

Me too. My hair is fine but I have lot of it so if I get a blowout it's sticking to my head but if I roller set myself it looks a lot thicker, and if I do a shake and go . . . it's a wrap. I'm winning Big Hair awards all over the place!

Here she is from last Night Babara Walters Special. The front part look like it's her's but in the back were it's a little darker maybe a piece I dunno. Anyway she did have thick pretty dark hair and with a perm it probably would have reached mid-back but not waist length.

Her hair is up in the back. I've seen the other pictures taken the same day with the back down and it looks thicker. The fact that she has a lot of bangs is what's making it look like that.

I saw an early pic of DC in a hair mag a loooong time ago. Her hair was in a shoulder length mushroom. It looked like her own hair. I also read somewhere around the same time that her hair broke off due to bleaching. It probably impossible to keep relaxed hair healthy and long with bleach. I know I tried with no success...
