I have gray hair (pic)

2 of them! What's wierd is that it's just the natural part/root. The gray starts fading to black right where the relaxed hair starts. I'm too young for this mess, I don't like it

it's on the left behind my middle part

I have had those gray strings for at least 10 years. I just pluck them out and keep it moving. I have been told for as long as I can remember that plucking/pulling them would make them grow back in twice as fast. Well, I never believed it and it has never happened.

I use my tweezer and make sure I pull the hair out from the root. My DH actually enjoy doing this for me. strange I know. lol

I used to pluck mine out, only the ones up front. One time I plucked out 7 strands of gray hair near my kitchen area and it took forever to grow back. I have a guy friend who likes for me to pull his gray hairs out too. He just has so *many* though.

Why are you pulling them out? Suppose all of your hair were to turn gray, then what?

I have alot of grey and I love it. I don't see it as being a bad thing.

Same here - no biggie. There are worse things to worry about.

I have about 5 of them (more if there are any in the back that I can't see) and I am 31. They seem to have just popped up in the last year.

No biggie - I'm still cute!

I got my first one when I was 9. My mother said it was a sign of wisdom and maturity; I believed her and loved them. But, I'm not feelin' the ones I've gotten since I turned 30. Gray in the crown is one thing. Gray at the temple is another. :ohwell: That's why God made henna.

I can't see the hairs in the pic, sorry.

ETA: OK, after enlarging the pic, I see it.

I have a few grays sprinkled around in the crown area. They popped up when I was in my mid-late 20s. I don't mind them at all. I was actually excited to see them!

lol, no plucking for me tho. I tried plucking my eyebrows once and it felt like I was mutilating myself. Either the hair wouldn't come out or it would break off so I stick to my razor.

You should see how many I have when I don't have a semi-color rinse in my hair. :lachen: It's way more than two of them. :look:

Graying hair is actually caused by the strand losing its pigment. Many times if premature ( depending on how old you are) This could be a sign that you are lacking certain nutrients in your diet.
This link has some interesting information. Perhaps this can offer a little insight. ;)

that's interesting I'm definitely going to check that out. I wonder what I've been doing differently since my last relaxer...

I was just about to say this. There are certain deficiencies that have been linked to grey hair. I used to have 2, but once I cleaned up my eating, they went away. :)
