Whew !!!!!!!!!!!! ...

I was getting angry and annoyed with my transiton... my hair was knotty and breaking ....>:(
my scrunching and curling my hair were going nowhere...

I want to relax and forget it..
and last week when I got my rollerset ....I really wanted to relax after that!... my hair had not been straight in months ...I loved it ... but reality hit when my workout class .. undid all that...:o

so I was back to trying figure out how to work my hair...
I tried the braidout again ... this time I really took the time to see how many braids I needed to get the affect i want .. how much product i need in my hair ... ect...
wow .. when you take the time to really learn what is need to take care of you hair .. you will reap the rewards...;)

I guess that is what this board is about..
so needless to say I won't be realaxing and hope to do the big chop , later on in the year....
Thank God for LHCF...

Congrats!!! on being strong and not giving in. I know how it feels to finally figure out what works just for you! I'm sure it's beautiful! :) Keep up the good work.

Congrats! A little patience and persistence goes a LONG way! :)

Thanks so much guys .... I really wanted to give up.....

You really have to "listen" to your hair..

my attemps at the braidout before were awful ... too many braids and not enough moisture ...
i got the right combo right ....voila!

my braidouts look like full curls and deep waves... got a lot of stares and compliments...

Glad to hear that! I am STILL trying to master the braidout and I've been natural for years! One day I will have to master it because now I have the urge to wear my hair out more.I must learn . I must learn!!

LOL u will ... you will .. learn ;)

I think .. it really is what you put in you hair .. and how many braids you have... I only put in 5 -6 and it gives me a vey curly ,wavy look ..

True, and also, doing the braids kinda loose as opposed to really tight gives you a nicer look, I think. :)

Congrats!! I know how it is to want to give up! I did soooooo many times. I frequently said that I regretted doing the BC, but now I'm sooo glad I did. If you just stay the course, you get through the awkwardness in no time! PM me if you need to!!
