And I like it!!

I was getting soooooooo tired with my hair. My afro doesn't look right because it's long in the front and back and short in the middle and sides. It just looks weird so I've been wearing my head band for the longest. I like twists but they take to long. I'm afraid to get it braided and the natural hair salon is tooooooo expensive, and the wigs are starting to get hot.

I was in serious need of a change so I went to walgreens and bought a 2 of them, 1 short black and curly, the other long brown and straight.

The curly one I have no idea on how to hook on. It's made like a hair scunci but then it has a rubber band? attached to it.
This is it

And this is the one I have on now (but it's a lighter color)

I tried looking up directions for the curly one online and I can't. If you know how to put it one please tell me. :(

Maybe use hairpins? I dunno, all of mine have drawstrings and a comb, I've never heard of one with a scrunchee attachment

Ok. First put your hair in a ponytail/bun. Make sure you slick it back as best as you can as you know most natural hair is wonderfully thick. Molding wax---from walgreens is great for holding and slicking natural hair.

Now take the phony pony's rubber band (scrunchie) in your hand and put in on your natural ponytail/bun---just like you would normally put a rubber band (scrunchie) in your hair to make a ponytail. Be advised you might have to use bobby pins to secure the phony ponys hair around your natural bun to make look more natural. The key is to hide your natural bun.

Last but not least fluff the phony pony out, maybe even frizz it up a little to make it blend with your own texture. Or if you don't feel like making it blend tie a creative scarf around your head so that mostly your phony pony is seen.

piece of cake.
