My hairline (where I put MTG most often) looks a little thicker to me. Am I nuts? Do you guys see it too?

Ok, now I'm sure there's a difference. Focus is everything.

I agree it's filling in nicely. Do you mind telling me your routine for using MTG w/braids? tia

Hi tishee, I used it once every three days after conditioning w/ a little lemon essential oil. I only used it on the crown/hairline area where it was thinest and I applied it w/ a color applicator bottle.

But, I only used it for about a month. My digital camera broke so I hadn't seen that part of my head for awhile. So, I'm not sure when it filled-in. But I stopped using MTG because I hated that it tarnished my silver jewelry and I hated the smell of feet on my head. Even lemony feet get old. But it must have done something. My hair certainly wasn't getting any thicker before. :ohwell:

The smell of feet on your head?! I was thinking about trying MTG, but now I don't think I will be able to. I can't stand it when some family members take their shoes off across the room from me!! I won't be able to stand an odor like that in my hair. OMG! :lachen:

Is it really that funky?

But, back to your question... Your hairline does look more filled in.

Yes! It's really that funky. :D My noise is sensitive too. But, I've heard others say they actually enjoy the smell and my fiance thought it smelled smoky like ribs or ham or something. Anyway it smelled like a cross between unwashed booty and funky toes to me. I'd change my pillowcase every three days (w/ each MTG application). Then I tried covering the pillow w/a towel, but that annoying and I wanted to use my satin pillowcases. After a while the pillow started to stink and got rid of the whole thing. I didn't want to continually buy new pillows so I decided to hold off on the MTG. With that said, apparently the stuff works which kind of changes my opinion about how bad it smells. Ya know.

i have progress too but i do NOT feel like taking all my braids out...i have tot ake them down before school starts but man is it TEDIOUS!!! I can't wait to see what my hair looks like though.

and as for MTG smelling THAT funky....well, the smell isn't that bad if you don't mind smelling like rotten bacon.
