I'm not a cutter, I'm a snipper! Lately I've been so miffed at my hair because it refuses to grow in an even straight line (yeah, I know...) I HAD the beginnings of hair touching bra strap but have gaps where the uneveness is very apparent from past damage and over the last 2 weeks, it seems every time I wash my hair, my hands find the sissors (always conveniently on the sink counter for some reason) and after I braid my pony tail or smooth out my 2 air drying pigtails it's "snip...snip"..Miniscule bits but, I'm eating away at my own progress! I'm at week 7 or so (lost count) of my last touch up so I should know better to trust how even my hair is at the moment but I look at all the beautiful pics of ya'll with wonderously dead even hair and I just get frustrated and sneak into the bathroom to "cut" myself...I'm trying to wait until ALL my hair is at bra strap and then even up, meaning I'd be cutting the uneven lengths which will be past but it's so dang hard!
and I worry that if I do a major trim now I might not recoup. I know that as long as I'm breathing then hair grows but we all know that feeling. I don't want to back track but all this scissor nit picking is probably doing just that...Ya'll know how they used to dip thumbs in something sour to prevent thumb sucking? well, I need something sour! Any ideas?...Any one have to suffer the same frustration and overcame it with EVEN bra strap hair to tell the tale? I need your words of wisdom and encouragement cause I just did it again...
Oh, yeah...Adrienne...don't read this! (She'll kill me!)
