1st: I just flat ironed my hairand its super staticy. Its floating around everywhere! How can I fix this?

2nd: while flat ironing I noticed that at my roots I have a lot of shorter like 3in, hairs growing.how can I tell if its breakage or new hairs growing?

1. Put a light coating of oil or serum to stop flyaways

2. 9/10 my guess would be breakage. Do u flat iron or manipulate in general often?

Frizz ease by John Freida is the bomb for flyaways... You can find it in your local pharmacy stores like cvs and walgreens. Sometimes you can find it in the grocery store. I never know what to buy because there are so many products out there and everybody has a different favorite.. But girlfriend listen to me... Frizz ease really works!! And it works for everybody that uses it..

Not too sure about the root hair.

I know nobody uses holding spray anymore, but I always lightly spray a comb or brush with it and run it through my hair. Works like a charm. I've even seen hairstylists spray Static Guard on the hair for this.

Sounds like those may be new hairs since it sounds like you aren't breaking your hair flat ironing it.
