i ordered it from amazon.com from nature and herb for $9.95. this is my first time using african shea butter. i just wanted to know can i use it everyday and on the ends of my hair to keep it moisturized? i'm going to start using it next weekend when i get some twists.

what i do with shea is to apply on freshly washed, wet or very damp hair.

the softness lasts for days.

Does anyone know what the difference is between regular shea butter and the raw variety? I have pure shea butter (not raw) that I love on my skin that I have yet to use in my hair. My inner pj is wondering about the raw kind tho. :scratchch

How did it make your hair feel, Letitia?

It just felt coated. I had to wash it many times to get it out. I have put some shea butter in the microwave and added a lil to my spray bottle with other products. That worked fine. Straight Shea Butter didn't agree with my hair.

(I use 100& unrefine shea butter)
