I was at a CVS pharmacy today and, lo and behold, I saw the infamous Elasta QP Mango Butter. You know I had to pick it up. I opened it, and it smelled nice but a little strong. I don't think I will use it on my transitioning hair, but once I become all natural I may give it a try. They also had some Elasta QP breakage serum in there, has anyone used this? Did it work?

I like the Breakage Control Serum. It works fine alone, but I usually add an ounce or two to mild, creamy protein conditioners like Lustrasilk HPC and Summit Mend to give them a lttle more power. ION Reconstructor is good for this, too...

The Mango Butter works for me on damp hair as a soft hold product for my edges and kitchen--but not as a moisturizer.

It does smell great, though!

Hi, I'm transitioning.. I have the mango butter, but it's not doing much w/ my natural hair. I've switched completely to oils now...
