I'm really bad at hair typing. I always thought Type 2 was almost straight with just a few waves?

In those pictures my hair was washed and then air dryed in two banded ponytails and then combed out once dry. I just assumed I was probably a 3B or maybe 3C.

In the first picture, in the gray sweatshirt I had let my hair air dry in on braid and then combed it out. It's a lot curlier in that one.

If you want to tell your hair type properly, you should wash it and leave it to dry without combing or tyeing it up.
Then use a hair type guide such as this one or this one

Your hair is absolutely GORGEOUS, camellia!!!

My hair is Type 2 and looks similar to yours (brown top photos). My hair grows downward, flat against my scalp in loose waves and no spirals and doesn't stand/grow upward, nor outward.
