I'm glad I'm not the only one. I spent $15.00 on the Silk Therapy everyone was raving about for flat-ironing. My hair looked dry and stiff after I ran the flat iron over it. I immediately switched back to my Elasta QP Silk for the remaining sections of my hair and saw an instant difference with shine and softness.
When I checked the ingredients- Elasta QP has no alcohol while Biosilk does. The Elasta QP was only $2.99 at Sally's versus the $15.00 for Biosilk.
Moral of the story-- More expensive products are not always better.
Aw! I'm sorry you don't like it. I love the Silk Therepy serum. That stuff's my staple. I've used that and only that as a moisturizer and flat iron agent since October. I like the Silk Therepy shampoo also. Never tried their conditioner.
At JCPENNEY I saw a baggie that had 4 BIG bottles of biosilk stuff for either 18 or 28. Even if u didnt like the other products, its still a good deal because u get a BIG bottle(several times bigger than the regular size) of the silk therapy which a lot of ppl here like for flat ironing...
