So I have been transitioning since April 13, 2007 and planned on chopping on January 1, 2010 but..... My family really pissed me off today and i felt i needed to do this. I was holding on to those little bit of relaxed ends and they were really doing anything for me. I still have quite a bit of straight pieces but I feel really good about my decision.

Here are a couple of pictures. In my fotki I have pictures documenting me from the beginig of my transition to now.

This is right before I began chopping.

I just went to your fotki! The pictures here don't do your hair justice...it's so full and healthy!! I'm transitioning also and just going on 7 months post next month so I hope to follow suit sometime soon!

Welcome to the natural side. And Congratulations.
We were transitioning along the same timeline.

I only served 24 months though. I ended mine April 17.
 
Too cute! Thanks for the inspiration. I need all I can get to keep going (instead of B/Cing now). My goal is 24 months, which would be next March.
 
Thank you everyone. I would never gotten this far without the knowledge I got from you wonderful ladies.

I had a night out on the town by myself yesterday sporting my brand new puff. I stopped by my ex's birthday party and he couldnt keep his hands out it it. It made me feel more at home with all of his "girl" friends were sporting fros. It was a lovely day.

Again that you for your support.
