I did my own single braids...with extensions *PICS*

Yesterday I tried to blowdry and flatiron my natural hair...and it was a huge bust. Had a minor breakdown and believe I suffered a setback. After some kind words an encouragement from some of you ladies, I braided my own hair, its my first time doing my whole head...couple more trys and maybe I can improve....here are the pictures:

Your hair looks great. I can kinky twist my own hair with extensions, but I don't think I'd have the patience to braid. The only time I braid my hair with extensions is when I re-do the ones which become loose after washing or when I want my hairline to look fresh. But having seen your effort, I'm very tempted to give it a go. It's also a great way of saving money.

I would love to try kinky twists. I don't even know how to do them..gonna have to youtube it. I am glad I am taking my hair care more into my hands. I can't believe i did single braid but I won't do cornrows on my own head. LOL.
