I had to pat myself on the back today. I drove my Mother and sister to Paterson, NJ today to purchase some Affirm. If anyone here is from NJ or know Paterson Main Street area you know it's a PJ Junkies DREAM!!! I mean literally ever y other store in that whole area is a beauty supply and you can find EVERYTHING there, if not in one store, then at the one two stores down ( I stopped in 4 of them all together in 45min time frame from the time I stepped out the car) Well, I went in looked around, picked up stuff, said my ooooohhhhs and aaaaahhhhhs and put the stuff back. I almost go suckered once, this one store still had two gallon jugs of Hair So New Creme rinse (now called Feels Like New and is a different formula that I don't like). Its so hard to find any left, and my mother swore by the stuff growing up. I had it in my hand about to walk to the register, And boy were those voices in my head going at it! but my self control finally kicked in, and I put it back.
I even drove off without visiting my favorite BSS...and then I didn't realized I parked right in front of one that I had never seen, but my sister was ready to go and wouldn't let me go in. All in all, my mom and sister left with what they came for and I left spending $2 on two hair scrunchies.
