Since my hair felt 'coated' after washing 3 times, I went lighter on my heat cap condish and used John Master's organic Neroli /citrus for 15 minutes.

When I was setting my hair I noticed more in the comb then usual.

However my hair looks shiny and feels strong.

What do y'all think?? Is the coconut oil good for me? I'm fine haired.

Have you tried olive oil? I prefer to pre-poo with olive oil or a mixture. Straight coconut oil hasn't worked to well for me. Although I have thick hair. I still wasn't too impressed with it.

I did the coconut oil to give my scalp a detox treatment. I will try olive tho.... I guess my main issue is the hair in comb issue. It wasn't a lot but it was more than I was used to seeing.....

Coconut oil has been proven to increase protein retention in the hair. I wonder if it may contribute to protein-overload in heads that are "protein-sensitive"?
