I sat up here and detangled my hair, section it off, took all the stuff out the box and chickened out...

I need some tips and encouragement...I really shouldn't spend the money to go to the salon...I have it but it would better of used for something else.

Help. :(

Do it girl! there's soo many tips in here.

How can I help? Let' see..
  • put some cholesterol on the hair that's been relaxed already
  • base your scalp
  • after applying and rinsing relaxer and a mild reconstructor to your hair (keritin 2 min) and prior to neutrilizing
  • maybe if you have someone around you can get them to help especially with the back
  • TLC, patience and some quickness in applying
I will let the other ladies come in with more. But you can do it girl!!!!!

Girl you could do it and I bet you can do it better than any salon!!!! Have patience- and make sure you prepare the hair and have all of your supplies on hand. In addition to above make sure you adhere to the time constraints!

Do a trial run or two with cholesterol cream.

It's how I learned that I have to much hair to relax in 20 minutes. (I have to do half of my head at a time)

Going throught the same concerns myself! I am debating whether to self texlax my head full of natural hair. Still debating.....

Let us know what you decide!
