My forehead/hairline and ears just can't take it. I toss and turn and get headaches.

I'm gonna have to drop out of the baggy challenge...I just can't take it:perplexed

Sorry ladies!

the scarves don't bother me i just cant stand the "crunch crunch" plasticicky sound when i toss and turn on the pillow

hope you find what works for you

Pixel Lady~You really don't need to wear a scarf. I'm suggesting that you place a bonnet over your plastic bag. Or, just wear the plastic bag with nothing else covering it. I do this occassionally.

Girl, give this a try before you quit.;)

LOL...thats the second reason! I think I must have some sensitive pressure points or something. Now I remember why I never wrapped my hair...darn scarves and pressure points...I can't wear wigs or hats either:mad:

hmmm...a bonnet...wonder if it will stay on?? What's gonna keep the plastic bag on if I don't use a scarf or something?

I was having the same problem too a few years ago.
Try this. Put the baggy on and tie it loosly. Wrap the scarf loosely and pin in 3 or 4 places with hairpins. My bonnet has yet to fall off and I don't have headaches anymore, and no forehead lines where I lost all the freaking circulation to my brain.

what about wearing a satin bonnet instead?

What about Saran Wrap? :sekret: No you didn't misread. Cling film...that sticky plastic you use to wrap food. Press and Seal can feel a bit icky so go for plain ole Saran Wrap.

It can be wrapped flat so there will be no crunch, crunch, not to mention no knots will be needed so no pressure point that could get sore and you won't have to wrap it too tightly coz if you let it wrap a little beyond your forehead, it holds well by adhering to your fo'head - specially if you're blessed with one like mine. Just a few complete wraps, focusing more on how it holds to the perimeter of your head...and just gather down the top of the cylinder you make to seal. And that means you won't need a scarf with this, coz this baggy doubles as a scarf. Heck, behold a scarbaggy!

Seriously, Saran Wrap is such a common head wrap for me before I wore a hat or went to bed, that in our home it's ignored the same way a scarf might be. Now if I were to rock a bonnet on top of a baggy, be it cap or Saran, I think hubby-mine would brace himself for a show coz I'd have to have quite a performance planned to be getting all dolled up like that :p ; or he'd get dressed thinking he forgot a date and we're supposed to be going out (and you know a smart dude has gotta play it off if he thinks he forgot a special event). :lachen: (OK, I exaggerate about my hubby but it's true it makes no difference to him, and yes, Saran really does rock!) So don't be shame, Ladies. Join me.

I have the Satin nits bonnet from Sally's.. I think you can get this from Walmart too. Anyways its really big and has an elastic band. I find it awy more comfortable than scarves, since its not tied with pressure around my head to stay on.

Daaang your baggy comes off while sleeping? Dang, my only problem with scarves period is that they don't stay on while I'm sleep. I said *** it and got a satin pillowcase. Well more like I pinned my satin scarf to my pillow.

Sorry ladies!

I've wondered how you ladies slip in the plastic caps everynight. I do pre-poo on Friday nights with a dom cond and the plastic cap drives me nuts because the elastic is sooo tight. I have a crease all the way around my head the next morning. I'm going to start cutting the rubber band. There is no way I could sleep in a plastic cap every night.

I've been thinking about that saran wrap Nonie. Especially because I like to wrap my hair and with the cond. baggies I end up with little bends on my wrap, even though I cover it with a satin scarf. I'm gonna use the saran wrap tonight and see how it does.

I though I was the only one doing this!:lachen:
I go to the dollar store and get the cheapy one and itz on. Toss it out in the morning and I'm on my way. Works good for DC's too.

When I put the baggie on, I pull plastic underneath the rubber band from the baggie, (so theres less air in the baggie, as I pull it under the baggie pulls close to my head). I get no stress, tension or marks from it this way because the band doesn't have contact with my skin. Try it!

I suffer from migraine headaches and can't take the scarves either. I just use the plastic bags and the satin bonnet on top. It work well for me.

I get migraines too :( I've learned that my scarf doesn't have to be tied TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT in order for it to stay on....so try loosening it a little and see how that goes. Good Luck :)
