I hate it when I find out a product that didn't work on my hair before now works and works damn good. All it does is feed my PJ addiction more and more. The product this time: LUST. I've tried twice before and hated it both times. It made my hair rough feeling and tangled. I realized that both times before I was due for a touch-up. I got one last week and I washed my hair tonight. I clarified (because my scalp was so itchy), washed once with CON and then decided to try to use the last of the LUST sample. I smoothed it on, left it on for a couple of minutes and I almost fainted. My hair was so soft, full of slip and I only lost a bit of hair through shedding and 2 broken hairs. Mind you, I meant to do a protein treatment with CPR but I couldn't bring myself to do it since I didn't want to lose the softness. I was saying to myself, "I know this isn't gonna work. Why am I subjecting myself to this?" The other part of me went: "Because you're a product junkie, that's why

." Now I want to go buy this although I think I'll only use this up to 4 weeks into my relaxer, just for during the week CO washes and then go back to my staples.

This is a great conditioner. I used mine for the second time yesterday. I love the smell and the slip it gives (just wonderful). I noticed that some people have to use a product a few times before it really works (like with the Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner). Sometimes after clarifying the hair, a conditioner that didn't work so great before can work like magic.

BTW, I love your saying 'If life gives you lemons, squeeze the juice into a watergun and shoot other people in the eyes.'

I notice a lot of times, products work much better on my hair after I use clarifing shampoos.

I don't know how often it's safe to use them though.

Azull, yes its a moisturizing conditioner that's also a good detangler. The hair comes out feeling very slippery and silky

I don't think it was the clarifying..I think it was because you were close to touch up time..When I'm close to touch up time, I find that I can only use my staples and even then sometimes (depending on which ones), they aren't as effective as they were prior..
