The worst part is...I didn't mean to. I just went to Ulta to get the Chi Silk Infusion ( I've decided that if I can flat iron my hair without the poof I will be leaning towards transitioning to natural ) but then I saw it and next thing I knew I had my credit card in my hot little hands and a look of shame on my face. I haven't even taken it out of the bag yet -- I'm scurred! :lachen:

I love my Sedu.

:yep:

I love my Sedu, too! Give it a try. If you want super straight hair from type 4 natural hair, it might work best if you blow out or roller set your hair first. I have pics in my 2008 album of when I flat ironed my shrunken fro. I didn't want relaxer-straight hair, just straight enough that it wouldn't revert easily. I used my Denman to detangle and brush out sections before I pressed them. Next time I would like to try roller setting first though. Let us know how it goes.:fan:

uh..mine's broken. The little power light REFUSES to come on. Most anti-climatic event ever. I'm thinking I'll return this tomorrow and repurchase on Folica for $50 less.

Type 4 ladies, how do your ends come out? Do you get crunchy ends from the Sedu like most other flatirons, I ask this because I have a Maxiglide and it straightens very well my ends because of the teeth and the steam feature. However, I really don't like the burnt smell that my hair gets when I use it. Oh btw, I have natural 4b hair .
