I use a wide comb on the blow dryer but i make sure that I use a paddle brush to detangle good before starting. works for me :ohwell:

I usually don't blowdry, but when i'm in a pinch I use my shower comb until my hair isn't soaking wet anymore then I let it airdry to completion

i dont blow dry my hair too often but when i do i use the comb attachment and there is no problem. no breakage no burnt hair no problems at all. and i never blow dry on high or hot

After two years of airdrying, I finally got a styler blowdryer with a comb attachment. When my hair is out, I blowdry maybe 1-2x a month. I use the larger comb attachment w/ cool (or warm) air and blowdry in small sections.

after washing my hair i section it with the fingers, apply fantasia heat protectant and gently pull my hair down to straighten the new growth and blowdry like that. it gets the roots pretty straight and i get zero hair loss

Brush attachments are usually on hatchet style dryers or hot air brushes like this:

I have both of these, apparently I'm an appliance junkie too. I blowdry every other month with #1 for a length check. I find this style of dryer gets my hair straighter and dries faster cause it's closer to the heat. I've never been able to manage using a brush, it's exhausting.

I use the comb attachment using COLD air for less damage. For some reason my damn hair will not stay straight even if I flatiron it it doesn't get how I want it, so I use the comb to make it atleast a little straighter than what it would normally get. It seems to do a pretty good job and almost no hairs are shed and pulled during the process. I love mmy hair dryer.

My straight style comes out best when I blow dry in sections with comb attachment then flat iron. Ive tried air drying but my hair is soooo thick and takes forever to dry....and i wouldnt dare go out the house while I air dry (i look crazy)....I've tried the pull straight/blowdry but that too takes forrrrrever.....Its soooo hard for me to get rid of my lovely little hand dryer. Im about to by a stand hooded dryer though so we'll see if thats any better for me...

Ladies clutch your pearls... I use my nozle attavhment and Denman Brush! Not one single strand of hair is lost or damaged. I section my hair in about 8 sections, let it dry 80%, then carefully blow dry with the brush. Small sections is the key

I've either used my Jilbere shower comb or my Denman to blow dry. In either case I am using the concentrator/nozzle attachment on my blow dryer. The only time I've set the dryer to high heat/high air was when I used SMB.

I have a Hot Tools hot air brush that I phenomenal! I can get my hair strait and curled. It is a ghetto Dominican Blow out with less heat!:lachen:I got addicted to it, so I'm putting away heat for 6 months.:ohwell:

comb attachment works best for me. Used gently it minimizes breakage and smooths my hair nicely.

ionic dryer w/ nozzle and my denman or I use a revlon ionic, ceramic brush. It just depends on how straight I want it.

This might sound strange but the only time I use a blow dryer myself now is to dry my feet off. :lachen:

I only wear my hair straight once every 6 weeks so when I do get my hair done they use the dryer on my roots only with a concentrated nozzle and comb

^:lachen::lachen::lachen: I might do this today. My feet aren't wet, but they are cold. Great idea!

I voted "other" based on what I do for DD:lachen: since I have not used a blowdryer since March, 2009. I use the tension method and move the warm air over the section I am drying, occasionally running my hand down the length of the hair. It gets straight without me having to do a lot of manipulation outside of the initial detangle....almost as straight as with a flat iron. I started doing this in 2007 with her hair, prior to LHCF because it saved me so much time...

Comb attachment, for simplicity, I can't seem to be able to brush and blowdry at the same time. It is essentially to kill two birds with one stone.

I use a vented paddle brush and find that I lose less hair this way and my hair is bouncier than when I used to use the comb attachment.
