I think any kind of high heat is basically damaging to the hair. Using some kind of a heat protector and using low heat minimizes damage. I don't think your hair should show signs of damaged since you are not blowdrowing so often. I think your hair will be fine when you return to your daily washing (these are conditioner washes right) And remember rollersets are less-damaging than blowdrying.

How long do you plan to keep it in a wrap? Tea tree oil is good for the scalp but it must be diluted well.

I blow dry about once a week for about 5 minutes. This new Conair Ion Shine is the bomb. I use a heat protectant. I hope i won't cause too much damage.

Tee tree oil won't keep your scalp "clean". The only way to clean it is with water and shampoo or conditioner. I say don't leave your hair untouched by water and conditioner or water and shampoo for more than 3 days max. If you really want, you could cleanse the scalp w/a cottonball and witch hazel, but your strands are going to be missing out on valuable moisture. Just don't leave it wrapped for too long.
