OMG I love it! I don't know what took me so long to do it, I don't regret those relaxed ends.
Though I think I might have texturized instead of texlating because I was afraid of overprocessing my hair since it was my first time doing it.

I'm 6 months post relaxer and now I can enjoy this new texture.

I'll post some pictures in a moment but I'm just so happy right now

So you BC'd the relaxed ends and then texturized/texlaxed? That means you're not natural.

Anyway, can't wait to see pics. I'm sure your hair is lovely.

you transitioned your hair, to BC your hair, to texlax your natural hair? is that what you are saying? I'm happy if your happy! Can't wait to see pics!

I did BC before texturizing or texlaxing (not really sure about the difference) but I was not claiming to be natural. I meant I can enjoy my hair without having to relax it :D.

So here are some pics, not as good as I wanted but well...

you might still have to keep up with a relaxer even if you only texlax or you will end up with different textures all over again...isnt that the reason you BC'd?

So basicly you did a BC for nothing...as far as being natural is concerned. Im guessing you just wanted that style since only your length has changed now

Your hair is luscious!

I guess I'm confused.

You said you BC'd then texlaxed? If it's texlaxed then it's still relaxed, just underprocessed.

I'm confused :spinning:because your pics looks like you are natural but you said that you texlaxed but you then said you can enjoy your hair without relaxing....please help..LOL

Did you BC, then texlaxed? If so then you will then continue to texlax right?

Your hair looks very nice! Maybe you could have worn your natural hair for a while since you transitioned and BC's but hey its your hair! It looks really defined and moisturized. yay you!

She transitioned from relaxed to texlaxed. I don't think she intended to ever go natural, she just didn't want bone straight hair.

That's what is sounds like to me :yep:

Your hair looks great!!! So lush and healthy-looking.

OP, your hair looks natural! Are you sure texlaxing was necessary? :)

Anyway, enjoy your hair and if there was a change, you may have to still do "touch ups" to maintain the "enjoyment" of you hair, which IS relaxed but just intentionally underprocessed!

Ok thanks for explaining. I was just so confused by these statements:
I'm 6 months post relaxer
I meant I can enjoy my hair without having to relax it

I just didn't get how she was that far post relaxer, but just relaxed. And how you can enjoy your hair without having to relax it if you just relaxed it.

:spinning:I just wanted to know what to congratulate her on lol.

You can still be relaxed if you BC. Although I know a BC is commonly associated with going natural. Either way it's just a hair cut whatever you decide to call it. I understood what you meant OP. lol

True true.

In the original post (before she edited it) she said something about having natural hair. That's what threw some of us off.

I didn't know that. Thanks! OP, your hair looks very nice.

Yes this is exactly what I meant!!

I guessed using terms like BC had everyone confused . I like how my hair feels now though it feels very dry sometimes. Will have to look around on the forum to find a solution
