Ladies I know this has probably been done before but PAT YA SELF OF THE BACK if you have experience a hair realization that change ya life.

I have been weaving for a few months and last night I took down/out the weave for my nieces wedding this weekend. I THUUUR-ROOOOWWWW-LEE combed all the dead hear out, shampooed with CON (briefly), Did an hour CASSIA henna treatment ( Egg, cassia, water & plastic cap) and a 15 minute deep under my hood dryer with Hairveda SitriNillah, honey, JBCO and VOOOOOOOLAAAAAHHHH!!!

The realization is that my hair doesn't need a whole half day to be moisturized and fab. I did all this after work and laid my locks on my satin pillowcase at 11:06pm. SO HAPPY!!!

I'm finally getting used to my natural hair. This week I plaited my hair in little individual plaits and rolled the ends on curl rods. I couldn't believe it was long enough to roll and it had movement!! First I sprayed my hair with aloe vera gel/juice, veggie glycerine, jojoba oil, peppermint oil and warm water. I took each little section as it came to me in no particular order, plaited it, sealed the ends with Murray's black beeswax and rolled them up on rods. I love the results!!! My front where I lay it down is nice and wavy and the back is one giant puff which I am truly amazed by! I only have to plait it up every other night and it's as good as new!!

I can truly see the results of my hair growth. I finally have hangtime!!!!!! When I came out of the shower the other day hubby said "Wow your hair is REALLY growing". I am proud of my progress!!!!!!

I was able to lightly straiten my hair and I can make a pony tail! Never in my 9 times going natural has my natural hair ever been this long! This is happy tears....

I have finally realised that i was piling far too much product on my hair in an attempt to moisturise it. Instead i was left with a grease ball that took forever to airdry.

Now all i do is apply my leave-in and style. That's it. It airdrys in Normal Time and i then just use a 'small' amount of oil moisturiser daily.

I am actually too ashamed to tell you how many layers of different products i used after i washed my hair.

Heavy sealing helped my hair, so Ill keep it up!
