My name is Country gal, I am an album update slacker. I was so good in the beginning but somehow lost my way. Back in the day, I had taken a bunch of pictures. I am lucky If I take one every couple of months. Part of the blame goes to Lovely Z. She doesn't work with me anymore so I don't have a photographer. My son can't get the PICS right. He gets frustrated in the long run. I am just now getting around to adding my Dominican blowout PICS. I promise to do better before something drastic happens like I get unfriended for not updating. I promise to take more PICS even if it is on the sly. I can picture me going to my cool clear co-worker.

CG: Hey, Bob can you take a picture of me real quick.
Bob (coworker): Okay, but why are you turning around.

Cg; Oh, I am just uh, well, I yeah, I want to keep track of my weight loss, that's all

Bob: Cool Beans, Dude.

I promise to add in more than three pics every 6 months. I am going to need someone to hold me accountable. I am going to need one of you DC heffas to take pics at the next meeting. That reminds I need to do a final thread this week before I get another lashing from peeved members.

Thanks for updating! I personally was waiting for the Dominican Blowout pictures. I'm transitioning (I think) and moving to DC, so I was very curious.

I just checked out your pics and your hair looks fabulous! I looks so thick even with the blowout!

ETA: When I move, I'll definitely be at the DC meetings and I can do your updates (LOL I'm too embarrassed to ask someone to take them for me)

I too am horrible at updating my album. I used to all the time, with every trim, every relaxer, every new hairstyle, hair color, etc. Now I'm doing good to update once a year!!

Do ya'll think I am straightening too much and it could be slowing down my retention? It seemed when I didn't use heat it would grow pretty fast. The Dominican stylist did trim my hair so it does look shorter than when I straightened it in December.

ETA: Whoa lol I look like a horse with those teeth... the other girl and I are so underdressed because we were etold the wrong info. These are my 2 bffs! The girl in the middle is natural and has always been. Isn't that versatility? The other one is really like 3a. Such beautiful lush curls. But she caught the flat iron bug and now she damaged some in the front. If that wasnt enough lol, she caught the color bug.

For me, I was like okay what's the point. I realize that it really is to inspire other members. My hair is not as long as Bub or Pohantas but I can inspire other naturals with my pics. I use to be really good at it too. I am getting back on track.

I was guilty but I started to update with a few pics this past week. I got a new digicam so they are more effective than my cell phone. Probably wont update again until Sept or so. Most pics are redundant because I wear the same syle everyday and somehow or another I end up doing aggressive trims. So sometimes I feel like why bother?
