I got a friend of mine to come from the Bronx and take me to Sally's in Linden, NJ.:driver: tonight. I was all pumped up :creatures and ready to buy anything that said Silk Elements on it.

I wanted to get the relaxer, shampoo, conditioner..whatever! I mean the ladies said this stuff was the joint and I was ready to rock. I asked Raddie to stay in the car cause I was on a mission and it may not be pretty. I was going in.:yay:

I saw the display the minute I entered the store. I stopped dead in my tracks as I reached for the relaxer. It's a no-lye product!:perplexed

My hair hates no-lye relaxers. I have serious dryness, breakage, and damage with no-lye products.:whyme: My hair reacts like that to every no-lye I have ever tried.

I bought the moisturizer and went back to the car pissed off.

I repeat. I am not a happy camper tonight. Oh, well.......

OUCH!! Sorry you made a blank trip. I get downright PISSED when I go to the BSS for a specific product and its out of stock:rofl:

Sorry they didn't have what you were looking for.

I don't like no-lye relaxers either. I used to get them a VERY long time ago. They always made my hair look so darn dry. I'm so glad I made the switch to lye relaxers.

The silk elements relaxer comes in Lye and No-Lye. I use the Lye relaxer...it comes in a tub.

This is the Lye relaxer

Sally's should sell both.

Did you ask the sales associate. Silk Elements relaxers come in both lye and no-lye formulas. I personally use the Lye formula for Coarse Hair and I am extremely pleased. I am sorry that you had this experience. I would suggest that you ask a sales associate specifically because it is a product line that Sally's exclusively sales.

The Sally's I go to sales the no-lye in one section and the lye in a different section of the store. Did you ask someone where the lye version was or at least when they were going to be getting it in? If they didn't carry it, you maybe could have ordered it while you were at the store?

The same thing happened to me me when I first looked for SE. You have to ask for it, they usually have the No Lye on display but the Lye hiding in the back on the shelf! Don't know why that is...

What!

Ya mean there was something there besides what I saw? All I saw was those box kits. There were stacks and stacks of them. Along with other products in the line. I thought that was it.

Damn.

I gotta go back. I gotta call Conrad and have him take me.

Dial. dial...Hi Raddie...... :phone:

Thanks ladies.
