with Kalpi Tone!!

I had been neglecting my hair lately and it was dry and brittle. I didn't even try to detangle it before I washed ot today, because when I was trying to separate the roots and ends by hand, all I heard was "snap, crackle, pop!"

So, I went to the cabinet to go through some of the many products I need to get rid of and saw that box. I decided to use it because I just knew I was about to have ALOT of breakage.

So, I mixed the box with EVOO, put the paste on my hair (concentrating on the roots), covered with a plastic bag and towel, and waited about 2 hours.

I washed it out in the shower with VO5 Moisture Milks and detangled.

Yall, my hair is so soft and I had almost NO breakage. It was less than it has ever been!!

I coated it with some unrefined shea butter and am currently twisting my hair. My twists have so much sheen and I just can't get over the miracle it worked on my roots and stopping the breakage.

I need to go back to the store for more Kalpi Tone. I do believe I have found a staple!!

Is this it? Is it just a moisturizer? I've never tried henna because I am afraid of the color change and some of the permanent effects. Is this just a moisturizer?

Ooh, thanks for sharing. I may try that (if it isn't something that would change my hair color. I'm skurred).

I actually just read about this. I like that it has properties to enhance the black in my hair. I plan to try this as a sub for Amla.

I have some kalpi tone but never really know how to use it. Now i'll mixed it w/evoo and try it to see it will for me also.

Kalpi Tone is an ayurvedic powder that promots hair growth. I use it mixed with Amla, Brahmi and Bhringraj and let it sit on my hair for an hour or so.

No, its not just a moisturizer. It also strengthens the hair and prevents breakage. I just never thought it would work as good as it did.

It is a mixture of ayurvedic powders (alma, brahmi, neem, shikakai, and others). My experiences with the other powders alone or when I mix them have never been good. This one is right on point.

Now, although it didn't change my hair at all, some people do experience darker hair when using this powder.

Ok, I had to come in this thread and do a nice co-sign!! I love me some Kalpi Tone too. I just tried it the other day and it was awesome..even blogged about the results and such here: My Kalpi Tone experience check it out..and like I said, if anyone loves amla, brahmi, or shikakai powders, then kalpi tone is just another one to add to your list of loves! :)

I would love to use anything that strengthens my hair shaft. Was it messy to rinse out? did you rinse in the sink or in the shower?
