I am about to cheat on my beautician

My sister goes to a shop that specializes in long hair. I am thinking about going their because my stylist only works on Wednesdays and Fridays. This new stylist loves to do rollersets and does awesome coloring/streaks and layer cuts. I am thinking about sticking to my stylist for touch ups becuse she can lay a perm. She just doesnt have the patience for rollersets, etc...

Question: Have you ever cheated on your stylist?

Yep! And I told her! I went to the dominicans often when I was transitioning because my stylist doesnt press well. I also went to Balisi from LHCF to get a press during that time.

Now I just go to my stylist for relaxers and when I want my hair "done". Otherwise I bun or protective style. I'm guessing I'll go back to styling every 2 weeks when I have APL or longer hair

Sure Have! Girl, the first time i went to this salon in atlanta, i sat in every single persons chair at some point or another to see who was the best. the other stylists were probably thinking "she has no stylist loyalty" but i DID NOT CARE. If someone else does your hair better or has a better specialty, Go for it

I just recently cheated on my stylist about 3 or 4 weeks ago - and that stylist is my brother!!!

I had cut back from going to him every week to only going to him for relaxers and then only going every blue moon b/c I was stretching my rlaxers 5 or 6 months. This last time, I needed a relaxer very badly and had made an appointment with him. I called him right back to tell him I wasn't going to be able to make it......Within an hour, I called to see if he still had an opening b/c I worked it out to where i could get there; he told he didn't have any openings and the messed up part was that the clown didn't even try to work me in (mind you, I was paying him!)

I went to the dominican salon the very next day and let them do my relaxer................But I'm going to have to tell him i cheated b/c they underprocessed me

I have!!! I was going to a place here in nc and overall I think they do do a good job. My hair was growing very nicely but after a dye job my stylist did, my hair just kept looking so dry. I don't think I was being conditioned properly and she was a little sissor happy. Now that I can rollerset with the best of them, I really don't go to one. I might go to the beauty school every now and then for a set. For my relaxers I do go to a stylist. I self relaxed this year and went great but now I go to a LHCF stylist. She was great and you got to support the ones who do good work.
